Transpeak bus service is one of the most popular bus services throughout the Peak District & Derbyshire. Visit www.trentbarton.co.uk
Derbyshire Wayfarer with a Derbyshire Wayfarer ticket you can travel through the Peak District & Derbyshire for a day by train (after 9.00am Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays). Travel to Sheffield, Leek, Macclesfield, Burton-on-Trent and Uttoxeter town centres is also included. Tickets are available from tourist information centres and railway stations in the area at a cost of £8.30 adult, £4.15 child/senior citizen, or £13.10 for a family group (two adults and up to three children). Prices apply from 20th May 2007. If you're travelling on Sundays or Bank Holidays, ask for a Family Freedom Ticket. At just £8.00, a group of up to two adults and three children can travel on the Sunday bus network within the Peak District. There's also a similar group ticket for the Hope Valley costing £3.00.
